Self Care is More than Pampering
If you’re following me on Instagram you would see how many times a week I take a bath and my strict masking schedule. I have tried almost everything out there to help me draw the perfect bath and continue to try the newest masks on the market. But maybe self care is more than 30 minutes for ourself. Maybe, it’s a state of mind or confession that we can not do it all.
BATHTIME
Here are the things you’ll need (I have linked to the products I love or am currently using!):
Bathtub
Shower Gel
The Body Shop Vanilla Marshmallow Shower Gel (P.S. She smells like Christmas!)
Face Mask
Iced beverage
Magazines/Books/Netflix
Currently watching: Gossip Girl
Currently reading: The Sacred Search
Candles
Bluetooth speaker/Google Home/Echo Dot
I believe self care is the key to work-life balance, a positive state of mind and leaves room for more creativity. More than pampering yourself, I believe self care starts with looking at your problems and not giving it power to take over your life and minimize everything else that is good in your life. When we give our struggles and stress the power to control our feelings and dictate our attitude, we become weak and feel defeated.
